This is an antique pair of fire dogs dating to the late Victorian period c.1900.
This pair of dogs are raised on stout, shaped front legs with broad feet pads for stability.
The tapering, square section, front posts rise magnificently with twisted helical decoration beneath pyramid stud finials.
The basket carriers are typically offset and can accommodate any width of basket.
A fine pair of dogs delivered ready for use.
