This is an antique drawing room show cabinet. An English, burr walnut and boxwood chest on stand, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.

• Superb raised cabinet with beautiful figuring and finish
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Burr walnut stocks present fine grain interest throughout
• Presented in warm caramel hues with lighter boxwood stringing
  
  
• Fascia adorned with shield brass mounts, including a lock escutcheon to the upper — key absent
• Lid opens to access an ebonised top compartment with a height of 17cm (6.75'')
• Cupboard door to the middle of the fascia with faux drawer finish
  
  
• Two pairs of small drawers frame the door, with brass drop handles
• Arrangement complete with a full width drawer situated in the lower fascia
• Dressed with a pair of carry handles to the side for ease of movement
• Striking demi-lune aprons enhance the front legs, with gently tapered legs at rear
