This is a small antique display table. An English, oak tripod jardiniere stand in the manner of Liberty and the Arts & Crafts movement, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
- Striking form, with hexagonal top and appealing Arts & Crafts appearance
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Select oak presents fine grain interest and wisps of medullary rays
- Rich caramel hues accentuate the superb tripod form
- Dashing hexagonal top with a generous surface, ideal for lamps or planters
- Canted legs replete with distinctive elongated 'clock hand' pierced motif
- Useful under tier situated within the trio of square section legs
- Shaped bracket feet add a final visual flourish to the whole
- Unmarked as such, but redolent of Liberty, London
This is a superb antique display table, diminutive in stature but of distinguished visual appearance. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
