This is an antique dining table. An English, quality mahogany 4 seat centre or breakfast table, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1870. 

• Superbly figured and of useful size for the family dining room
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
• Select stocks with fine grain interest throughout
• Deep caramel hues beam beneath a wax polish finish

• Comfortably seat 4 with a kneehole height of 57cm (22.5'')
• Raised table surface above a gently chamfered rolled edge
• Broad square shoulders encase a deep apron to each side with beaded lower edge

• Drawers to either end, one with cutlery sections - dressed with brass drop handles
• Drawer to one end with inset brass lock —key absent
• Each leg distinguished with elegantly turned cup knees
• Raised upon a quartet of distinctive tapering octagonal legs with circular feet

This is a beautifully figured antique dining stable, offering high visual appeal and useful proportion for the smaller family. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
