This is an antique decorative serving tray. An English, satinwood and burr walnut afternoon tea tray in Georgian revival taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
- Exceptional craftsmanship, with fine colour and finish
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in very good order
- Select stocks present fine grain interest and rich caramel hues
- Inlaid satinwood and burr walnut arranged as a scallop shell motif
- Distinctive sash tray lip dressed with rolled brass carry handles to either end
- Finished with a deep emerald green protective baize to the base
This is a superb antique decorative serving tray, well suited to the finest of gatherings or club lounges. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready to serve.
