This is an antique decorative planter. A Chinese, bronze relief jardiniere in Qing dynasty taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

Wonderfully eye-catching example of 19th century Chinese decor
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
Appealing brilliance to the bronze with rich golden tones
Distinctive faceted finish, with profuse circular decor to the ground
Alternating icon interest to the fascia with relief phoenix and monkey figures
