This is an antique display bookcase. An English, burr walnut, library cabinet, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.

- Burr walnut stocks showing the finest grain interest and rich with caramel hues
- Presenting a quality wax polish finish throughout
- Prominent rolled top surface over a graceful cavetto edge moulding
- Breakfront doors with grand pilasters framing the quality glazed panels
- The right-hand door dressed with an inset working lock — key present
- Interior arranged as a pair of velvet dressed shelves - of generous size for a collection of treasured books
- Graduated shelf heights of 33cm, 25.5cm and 28.5cm respectively
- Each shelf offering a width of 75cm and depth of 33cm (29.5" and 13")
- Quality finish to every surface, the sides graced with field panels
- Standing upon a quartet of shaped bracket feet, with a nicely panelled back
