This is an antique compact chest of drawers. An English, oak bedside cabinet, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1800.

- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Select oak shows fine grain interest and an abundance of medullary rays
- Deep caramel hues beam beneath the wax polish finish
- Each drawer dressed with brass drop handles over circular backs
- Mahogany border adds contrast detail to the drawer fronts
- Quality oak drawer boxes with inset, brass-lined locks to each — key absent
- Standing upon ogee bracket feet to the front, with bracket feet to rear
