This is an antique club fender, a mid-Victorian fireside seat in oak dating to circa 1875.

Classic club fender in oak with desirable aged patina
Recovered in the early 20th century in Rexine
Studded finish and traditionally stuffed

Stout vase and ball turned baluster pillars
Demi-lune poking access
Of quality craftsmanship

With huge character and purpose. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
