This is a Georgian, antique, mahogany chest of drawers dating to c.1780.
A fine mahogany commode chest of drawers presented in very good antique condition fitted with a marble top above flame mahogany frieze.
Standing on bracket feet with subtle moulded edge trim with classic canted corners, the oak lined drawers are arranged in a 'two over three' configuration, dressed with elliptical brass back-plate handles.
Solidly constructed, generous proportions offering ample storage, this piece has an attractive colour and finish.
A fine English chest of drawers in very good antique condition and a piece to be welcomed into any location. Delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
