This is a super little antique Canterbury or club broadsheet rack dating to the mid-Victorian period c.1870.

Finished in well grained English walnut
Good colour and an aged patina
Raised on turned legs, lower platform finished with edge moulding

Stout turned corner columns topped with attractive finials
Two sections divided with ring turned spindles in good order
Upper platform with canted corners

A desirable piece ideal for use as a magazine rack. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
