This is an antique buffet a deux corps, French dating to the late 18th century, c.1780.
- Crafted in stout fruitwood stock finished with yew wood
- Desirable colour with good grain interest and a beautifully aged patina
- Country kitchen appeal in a polished wax finish
- Raised on continuous plinth base
- Canted corners to upper and lower cupboards
- Generous crown moulding
- Internal shelves in solid thick planks
- Pin hinges to cupboard doors

- Three drawers over a pair of field panelled cupboard doors
- Dovetailed drawers dressed with later brass pulls
- Carved wooden lock escutcheons
- Iron locks with keys absent
- Single shelf within dividing space into two
