This is an antique buffet a deux corps, French dating to the late 18th century, c.1780. 

• Crafted in stout fruitwood stock finished with yew wood
• Desirable colour with good grain interest and a beautifully aged patina
• Country kitchen appeal in a polished wax finish
• Raised on continuous plinth base
• Canted corners to upper and lower cupboards
• Generous crown moulding
• Internal shelves in solid thick planks
• Pin hinges to cupboard doors

Lower section:

• Three drawers over a pair of field panelled cupboard doors
• Dovetailed drawers dressed with later brass pulls
• Carved wooden lock escutcheons
• Iron locks with keys absent
• Single shelf within dividing space into two

Upper Section:

• A pair of field panel doors
• Carved wooden lock escutcheons
• Working lock and key
• Inside a pair of shelves divide the space into three
