This is an antique Buddhist Avalokiteshvara figure. An Asian, bronze religious deity, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

Delightful rendition of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, also known as Guanyin in Chinese
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
Weathered bronze presents rich orange hues and deep tonality
The Avalokiteshvara presents the four icons associated with the sitting deity
On display, the crystal rosary, the utpala flower, the five-jewelled crown and the wish fulfilling jewel
Substantial weight in the hand at 5.15 kg (11.35 lb)
