This is a fine example of an antique bow front chest of drawers. An English, Georgian, mahogany chest dating to the late 18th century, circa 1790.
- In quality mahogany with attractive grain and good colour
- Useful shallow proportions arranged in a classic '2 over 2' configuration
- Raised on typical splayed, slender bracket feet
- Oak lined, cock beaded drawers solidly constructed with dovetailed joints
- Inset brass keyhole escutcheons fronting brass locks, untested as key absent
- Dressed with drop handles over ovular, pressed brass back plates
Charming and useful, ideal in many locations. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
