This is an antique bookshelf. An English, mahogany and brass wall shelf or hall stand in Regency revival taste, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1900.
- Pleasingly evocative revival of the Regency period
- Displays a desirable aged patina with gentle sun fading present
- Select stocks present fine grain interest and caramel hues
- Brass shows subtle golden tonality throughout
- Quartet of broad finials decorate each corner of the top surface
- Arranged with three generous shelves below, each with 22.5cm (8.75'') spacing
- Striking X-rail supports adorned with circular foliate medallions at each intersection
- Standing upon a set of four brass bun feet with concentric band decoration
