This is an antique Gazak rug. A Middle Eastern, nomadic tribal woven decorative carpet, dating to the late 19th century, circa 1900.

• Displaying a desirable aged patina with minimal fading and in good original order
• Wonderfully decorated with bold diamond geometric patterns, a hallmark of the nomadic Gazak rug
• Tightly woven in durable wools and kilim, this attractive rug is well suited to the entrance hall

• Bright colour palette with unusual orange, purple and green diamonds accentuated with deep pink
• Half diamond tramline border to each side, with an outer checkerboard pattern
• Finished with bands of loose, medium length tassels to either end
