This is a small antique opera monocular. A German, brass and leather cased viewing scope, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
- Charming and petite, with a useful original carry case
- Displays a desirable aged patina, lightly time worn throughout
- Brass barrels enamelled in black, with gilt tones to the collars
- Dressed with a brown leather grip and small strap loop
- Generously sized primary objective with a diameter of 45mm (1.75'')
- Single draw tube extends smoothly to aid focusing
- Eye cup replete with maker's mark for Gebruder Steppacher, München
