This is a vintage lava flower vase. A West German, art ceramic baluster urn, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1960.

Appealing mid century decor, with distinctive colour and finish
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Quality ceramic urn form, with broad rolled rim
Mottled lava effect beneath a clear, smooth glaze
Finished in black and deep ivy green over a cream coloured band
Opening diameter at the rim of 8.5cm (3.25'')
Maker's detail and pattern number situated on the base
