This is an unusual, antique decorative vase. A Continental, ceramic baluster urn with fiery dragon scenes, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

Appealing and rare depiction of the large mythical beast
Displaying a desirable aged patina - in good original order
Green ceramic ground with mottled hand-painted finish
Cream coloured secondary finish providing a fine contrast

Ropework effect rim flows into the arched handles
Large, detailed dragon to each side, raised upon its hind legs in fire-breathing motion
Plumes of fire issue around the base the of the vase
Marked to the base with the number 9570
