This is a pair of vintage Pointer bookends. A French, bronze dog figure book rest, dating to the Art Deco period, circa 1930.

Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
Quality bronze presents naturally, deep amber hues
Good weight in the hand at 1.21 and 1.176kg respectively (2.667, 2.59 lb)
One figure presents the Pointer in its eponymous pose
