This is a pair of antique decorative tool rests. A Continental, brass and copper fireside stand in the Grand Tour taste, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1860.

Beautifully ornate and of superb quality, perfect for the grand fireplace setting
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Warm copper hues and golden brass tones beam from a lightly polished finish
Small urn finials repeat the gadrooned finish of the central support
Framed by wide tool rests with scrolled flourishes to the stanchions
Raised upon a tapering circular foot, adorned with relief leaf patterns
