This is an antique jardiniere stand. A Japanese, bronze planter stand or side table, dating to the Edo period, circa 1850.
- Wonderfully ornate jardiniere stand with strong antique Japanese taste
- Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Strikingly tapered bronze presents pleasingly weathered tones
- Decorated with finely detailed dragon and crane relief
- Encircling the lower half, the long, sinuous dragon enhanced with detailed scales
- Generously sized top finished with a chased vine motif of scrolled forms
