This is an antique jardiniere stand. An Italian, gilt metal and marble decorative whatnot, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
- Delicate detail and an attractive shock of yellow marble
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order - one small chip to marble under tier
- Graceful gilt metal frame, golden hues exposed through the aged ebonised paint
- Excellent pierced feather pattern accentuates the frame edges
- Pleasingly thick Giallo Siena marble presents a wonderful display surface
- Useful under tier with a smaller square of the distinctive marble
- Slender cabriole legs with unusual, scrolled feather knees, terminating in a scrolled toe
