This is an antique decorative afternoon tea tray. An English, mahogany and boxwood serving platter, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.
- Delightful tray for serving guests with Regency period elegance
- Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
- Select stocks present fine grain interest and rich caramel hues
- Centrepiece boxwood scallop shell motif set within an oval medallion
- Distinctive wavy edge to tray, dressed with rolled brass carry handles to either end
- Finished with a fascinating dappled leather protective pad to the base
