This is an antique dome top calling card box. An English, walnut and brass bound desktop tidy, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.

- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Select walnut stocks present fine grain interest
- Warm caramel hues beam beneath the wax polish finish
- Domed top dressed with quality pierced brass fretwork, with bright golden tones
- Gothic overtones evident in the quatrefoil lock escutcheon — in working order, key present
- Lid interior finished in a reflective silver foil with distinctive beaded texture
- Four segments to the interior presented in a shock of bright cobalt blue
