This is a large antique overmantle mirror. An English, giltwood and mercury glass mirror, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.

- Rich golden hues grace the bold giltwood frame
- Appealing original mirror plate with a desirable light foxing
- Prominent crown moulding with turned and collared pilasters
- Frame edge surrounded with an ebonised finish with reeded detail
- Foliate decorations accentuate the frame, with patera to the upper section
- Dressed to the rear with a pair of mounting loops for ease of hanging
