This is an antique centre table. An English, carved oak display table in Gothic revival taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1890.
- Beautifully presented, substantial centre table with a striking carved appearance
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
- Superior oak stocks present fine grain interest and medullary rays
- Delightful, warm caramel hues accentuate the whole
- Presented in original order, the wide circular top sits above a 3.75'' thick apron
- Fascinating fruiting vines accentuate the apron, carved skilfully in relief
- Prominent bulb support with a lobed collar over a continuation of the grape motif
- Standing upon a quartet of trestle legs supported by squat bun feet
