This is a vintage serving set. An English, ironstone soup tureen or cranberry service dish in Art Deco taste, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1930.

Bright, clear Ironstone in good order throughout
Rich blue and red hues add an appealing dash of colour

Colourful foliate decoration to both pieces
Tureen lid dressed with reef knot handle and finished with painted leaf detail
Each with their respective serving ladle
Maker's mark to base of larger tureen, both with matching serial number of C.1396

This is an attractive pair of vintage serving dishes, with good colour and foliate detail typical of the Art Deco period. Delivered polished and ready for the home.
