This is an antique astrolabium clock dome. An English, glass and ebonised pine display case, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1880.

Of interest to horologists, being a useful size for displaying mantel clocks
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
Blown glass dome presents a clear, bright appearance
Protective emerald green baize adorns the circular base
With an ebonised finish, the pine base stands upon squat circular feet
