This is a pair of antique morning room elbow chairs. An English, mahogany carver seat in Chippendale revival taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1890.

- Serpentine cresting rail, with broad 'Chippendale' ears
- Leading into a striking, pierced back splat with graceful fretwork
- Sinuous arms terminate in appealing scrolled knuckles
- Each arm raised upon a slender, S-curve support
- Quality, suede upholstery in good order, free of marks or loss
- Professionally reupholstered and traditionally stuffed cushioning
- Seat at a comfortable height of 46.5cm (18.25")
- Raised upon square section front legs, with a gently splayed pair to the rear
- Legs united by way of a double H stretcher
