This is an antique folding lamp table. An Anglo-Indian occasional or side table, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
- Ornately pierced fretwork with a distinctive octagonal folding form
- Displays a desirable aged patina in very good order
- Teak stocks presenting deep chestnut and caramel hues
- Lift-off top with folding legs for ease of stowage, in the campaign manner
- Enthusiastically carved to all surfaces, offering a treat of visual detail
- The top sets a flowerhead medallion to centre within a quarterfoil
- Eight striking fretwork panels host foliate scenes
- Chased leaves decorate each fascia across the octagon of legs
