This is an antique helmet scuttle. An English, copper coal bucket or fireside bin, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.

- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
- Copper bucket shows rich colour and hand-shaped charm
- Rolled handle clasped by shaped brackets with rivet bonding
- Shaped handle to rear with rounded pull over scrolled back plate ends
- Raised on a tiered circular base with beaded finish
