This is an antique fireside warming pan. An English, copper and iron decorative piece, dating to the early Georgian period, circa 1750.
Whilst used in period, the unlined nature of this copper pan is suitable for display use only.
- Wonderful fireside decoration with appealing Georgian craftsmanship
- Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good original order
- Lightly polished copper pan shows warm amber hues, with deftly hand-shaped form
- Blackened finish to the reverse a testament to centuries of fireplace use
- Slender iron handle attaches to the pan with a trio of brass bindings
