This is an antique 4-drawer lowboy. An English, oak and walnut correspondence desk, dating to the Georgian period and later, circa 1750.
- Charming small table, with great colour and attractive craftsmanship
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Select oak stocks present fine grain interest and wisps of medullary rays
- Graced with rich caramel hues throughout, beneath a wax polish finish
- Wide top enhanced with delightful burr walnut borders
- Arrangement of four drawers to the fascia with natural oak boxes
- Each drawer dressed with brass drop handles over shaped backplates
- Standing upon tall canted legs with graceful pad feet
