This is an antique secretaire cabinet. An English, mahogany chest of drawers with drop front writing desk, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1800.

• Arranged as three drawers beneath the drop front upper with push button mechanism

• Central door decorated with oval shell motif guarding a pair of sliding trays within
• Suite of small document drawers and gallery recesses, dressed with small brass pulls
• Dressed with a quality baize, the generous writing surface a comfortable height of 77.5cm (30.5'')

• Each drawer dressed with quality drop handles sitting upon decorated oval backplates
• Inset brass lined locks to each drawer front — untested, keys absent
• Dashing shaped lower apron in the manner of Sheraton
• Standing upon four gently tapering straight bracket feet to each corner
