This is a pair of antique Drinking cups. An Italian, bronze over marble decorative goblet in Grand Tour taste, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.
- Strikingly presented cups, with superb relief decor
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Beautifully time worn bronze presents dark tonality
- Ornate relief presents prominent morning glory flowerheads
- Pair of vine form handles sit beneath the wide, shaped rim
- Standing upon a shield shaped socle in black marble
- Dressed to the base with a protective leather pad
- Substantial in the hand at a weight of 1.71kg and 1.68kg respectively
