This is an antique Gothic revival hall table. A Scottish, mahogany console, side table or buffet server, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1870.

• Apex form to the up stand, with a shield medallion to the centre
• Generous top surface finished with canted corners and tapering edge
• Block shoulders enclose a deep apron, with a shaped sash across its lower edge
• Superb concealed drawer to the right-hand side, with aged repository label
• Standing upon tapering legs with lobed knees and twist fluting over bun feet
