This is an antique smoker's bow. An English, ash and elm elbow or captain's chair, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1900.

- Rich chestnut hues beam beneath a wax polish finish
- The upper rail crowned with a generous scroll back and butler's grasp
- Eleven desirable spindles rise obliquely supporting the horseshoe armrest in ash
- Skilfully formed saddle squab with pronounced seat and JK monogram to rear
- Standing upon stout baluster legs united by a double stretcher rails
