This is an antique elbow chair. An English, mahogany armchair with needlepoint upholstery, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1800.
- Serpentine forms with fine colour and finish
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order

- Quality needlepoint upholstery with colourful foliate bouquet to the useful drop-in seat
- Bowed top rail with arched edge cascades into striking, scrolled arms
- Reeded front apron set between a pair of chamfered shoulders
- Standing upon superb gadrooned front legs with bun feet
- Gently splayed rear legs curve gently from the side rails
