This is a small antique picnic case. An English, leather suitcase by John Pound & Co, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920.
- Delightfully distinctive colours to this charming away day picnic case
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
- Quality leather presents gently sun-kissed pink hues from the original tan
- Striking green interior finish a superb diversion from the exterior
- Dressed with a broad, rolled leather carry handle
- Cast metal clasp with inset lock — untested, key absent
- Monogram to the fascia with the initials GP within a roundel
- Tan coloured straps to the interior for holding small picnic plates
- Replete with plate dividers to either side of the clean interior
- Maker's mark to the lid for John Pound & Co, of London
- Established in 1823, John Pound continues to make quality leather goods
