This is an antique display vase. A Japanese, ornate ceramic flower sleeve by Noritake, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920.
- Fascinatingly ornate vase with a brilliant finish and colour
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
- Quality Japanese ceramic, with a light cream ground
- Bold form with wide, flared rim and tapering gently to the foot
- Foliate frieze to the front and rear fascia, set upon a rich green ground
- Relief gilt accents adorn the fascia and add appealing highlights
- Striking shaped handles dazzle with lightly time-worn gilt finish
- Noritake 'Komaru' export mark to the base, registered in London circa 1908
